The Legend of The Artifact Demo, version v1.12. A lot of bug fixes done and some improvements. Probably one of the final demo versions needed!
The Legend of The Artifact is a 2.5D platformer with fighting elements for up to 4 players. An evil wizard has stolen the golden treasure known as The Artifact, which keeps the land in peace and harmony. The legend says that four heroes saved the land last time it happened, and now four new heroes will have to stop the wizard and get back The Artifact to it's shrine, The Sanctum.
You will play as one of the four heroes; Matt, Chip, Aria or Huey. Play alone or with friends and advance as a team in order to recover The Artifact and defeat the wizard!
-Multiplayer with up to four players, co-op or against each other
-Fun combat mechanics, along with dozens of items and weapons
-9 worlds to play through
-16 playable characters with different stats and special moves, some unlockable
-70 levels to play, each one adding to the TLoTA universe

Check out TLoTA's full OST here!
TLoTA might be available for Mac and Linux sometime soon after the initial release for Windows.
Check out my other projects here:
TLoTA 1 is being remade! It's not long ago since the original came out, but I'm personally unsatisfied with the result. And since TLoTA is my favorite game series out of all the games I've got, I had to do something about it.
I won't go into detail on much about the game itself yet, but I can post some of the screenshots I got lying around. Here are some of the first boss, the Ice Golem, and the first level, Rolling Hills.
And here is some of the OST, too! This is the Ice Golem battle theme.
And here is the Shade Battle theme. One of my personal favorites!
However, I will say something about our future plans. TLoTA Remastered (TLoTAR) will be released before we're going to make the sequel, TLoTA 2. This remake is a lot more than just prettier graphics. It has less bugs, much better framerate, smoother gameplay, deeper gameplay mechanics, and so on. Plus, we are adding a lot of extra content to the game and even changing the story for the better by adding more dialogue and personality to it.
However, this is not our next project to be released. Before TLoTAR is made, we will finish our current project; Story of Bas. I urge you to go check it out, it'll be good! As soon as SoB is complete we will return to TLoTAR to finish it.
And there is one thing I don't think I can make clear enough: TLoTAR might be a separate game from the original, but it will be sold at the same price, and it will be completely free for anyone who has the original version.
It's my way of saying sorry just in case anyone wasn't happy with the original game.
And for the record, TLoTAR, like most of our games, will be available at Desura as soon as it is released, and hopefully also Steam if we can get it through Greenlight. The original game might've failed Greenlight, but I'm confident in that this remake will make it through.
I don't have much more to say on it, but for anyone who liked the first game (or at least the concept of it), I'd say you have reason enough to be excited for this new remake. And if you want, you can always grab the original game right now over at Desura, as you'd get the remake for free later on if you own the original. But that is up to you!
That is it for now. I will make more news posts when we start developing this game fully.
Until next time!

@2missing4u You do use extra controllers. xP You've always had to do that with more than one player.
