Report RSS Core scripting wrapped up

We finally wrapped up scripting of all core interactions in the entire first chapter of The Journey Down.

After having spent over half a year churning out assets and building tech, we've finally come to the stage where we are actually implementing stuff into the game. I can now proudly announce that we've already, in only two weeks time, managed to get all major interactions of the first chapter in place, where they belong!

What's missing now is primarily tons and tons and tons of polish as well as extensive testing. Also, we're still far from finished with wrapping up work on our intro and outro cinematics, and with the deadline looming on the horizon, we are definitely starting to feel the pressure. But if we can keep the tempo we've got now going, this should be no problem whatsoever.

The picture seen here is a scene I recently implemented, where two of our main characters, Bwana and Lina discuss conspiracies and whatnot in Bwana's rusty old airplane. If you're curious about some of my thoughts on implementing emotion in these characters, please read about it over on our dev-blog,
