The Invisible Hand is an action-packed, investigative 3D adventure full of surprises on the issues of global justice and fair trade. The game starts in a metropolis in the North of the world, where we have to fight against the consumerist attitudes which dominate global society and the incessant advertising we suffer, which can turn us into inert, passive citizens. It then moves to Africa, to a plantation exploited by the multinational confectionary industries, where we discover the unfair mechanisms which govern the global economy by following the whole cocoa production chain. We meet with an independent producer and find out all about fair trade, which offers dignity and respect for the producers and their rights. We then go through customs, hide on a cargo ship run by the multinational company and return to the city, seeing inside the confectionary industry and the headquarters of the WTO, where the fate of millions of producers is decided without even being consulted.
