Amazing story, the seemingly poor layout ofthe gameplay comes full circle for the scares well thought out game!
-Great cast and backstories
-Simple Puzzles as to not aggravate the player
-Twisted view of different worlds in theme
Only con was the quality of the characters but that can easily be patched up
This game is awesome!
The story is totally amazing! It gets to you from the first scene, and you can't stop playing until you have played the whole thing and knows what happened to the caracters, who are really well made. Ypi really understand them and feel for them in their trubles.
The artwork is amazing and sets the mood perfectly for the game.
The game is really well made, no detail has been forgotten or left to chance in the process. Everything fits together perfectly, from the voiceacters and the artwork to the story and game-controlls. I can't find anything negative to say!
I really, really, really, really like it, and I would recomend everybody to play, and fall in love with, the cat lady!!
I don't really have the energy to write an essay on this masterpiece, i lost it all playing the last few hours. I stay overwhelmed with various feelings. All I can say is I've never experienced anything like this, EVER. This game is not only beautiful but also teared off my costume and helped me to see myself. I will forever love this "game" because it's more than a game, it's a life lesson. The very best at such. Also, paprika.
The show ain't over until the Cat Lady sings. And didn't she sing well?! I adored this game and was sad when it was over. What did I love about it? Firstly, the voice-actors. They were tremendous. And it was refreshing to hear British dialects instead of the ubiquitous US accent. Secondly, it must be the script. The story-line was compelling and quite grizzly too at times. Coming up close in third place was the graphics. Initially, I found them a little jerky, but I did love the hand-drawn style. Made the characters feel warmer somehow. Highly recommend this outstanding indie game.
I watched a Let's Play of this by TheRPGMinx on Youtube, and WOW. This game is incredible. I won't even wait for it to get on Steam. It's available on Desura, but if it DID get greenlit, it would really support the developers. This adventure horror game is gritty, different, and the writing is phenomenal. The story is VERY dark, but it doesn't beat you with nihilism for nothing. If anything, the crazy serial killers the protagonist has to contend with are reason enough to buy this game, if you want the thrills.
