Looks much cleaner and more professional. Well done.
But is it visible enough? The other one did have those particle-ish effects, and I don't know if it makes a difference, but are they equally visible? Is the new one more visible?
The particle effect of the old one was good for visibility yeah, but it was much too random. Where did those tentacles come from? The new one isn't perfectly flat either. It has small tentacles in its four corners, and big particles the size of the entire button that raise up all the time too. It should be enough.
And if not we will scale the effect up a bit again, easy fix :)
