Yes !
I can't wait trying more of it.
Actually my dream game would be something similar, scriptable, and with a limited number of actions per turn.

Hello !

That game looks interresting, but I can'make it work on my netbook : its loads alright, but the mouse can't go bellow the tools icons (so I can't reach the "next turn" button).
Also, I have managed to pick the shovel up, but can't dig any hole.

Is it a game issue ? I am doing something wrong ?

Hello!
Glad you tried it. If your resolution is less than the games normal 1024x768 you might need to enter windowed mode (F4) and then resize the game window to fit your screen. That is why you can't see the entire screen.
Since you can't see the bottom portion of the game, you are unable to click "next" on the portrait talking to you. That's probably why you can't dig.
Sorry about that, hope it works after you change the window size.
Holgersson Entertainment.
PS. Pls let me know if it works, if not I might need to make some changes. Thanks!

Thank you for your reply.
The problem is not that I can't see the whole screen : actually, I can see everything. But my mouse can not reach the bottom part of the screen (imagine that my screen is 15 cm high. In terraform, in can not reach the 3 bottom cm). I can select the shovel, but it does not dig. But you are right : it is a resolution problem. I have managed to play, after altering the screen res.

That's a god job that you have done there. Settlements seem to be a very clever trick.
The principle makes me think of an oooooold ascii game where one had to control fire that was spreading in the forest.

Maybe could that game be a real hit, if it would let us programm new tiles/tools/interractions. But I suspect that it is beyond what gamemakers allows to do (and the game is apparently almost finished). I could really imagine more interaction with settlements (war, revolution,...)

A kind of turn based powder toy (such as Powdertoy.co.uk)
