Introduction

Hello everyone i would like to announce that we are going to hold a new gaming event for Tiberium Crystal War 1.52.
Most, if not all, of our Developers and Testers will be available during this event so you can ask questions and or make comments about the current version 1.52 and the upcoming (rumoured to be dead) version 2.0 which is under construction.

Newcomers
If you are a newcomer to Tiberium Crystal War or never heared of it, go watch our video trailer first on homepage.Tiberium Crystal War is a full standalone conversion of the Renegade W3D Engine, you do not need Renegade to play it and you can run it aside Renegade just fine.
It consists of structures, vehicles, units, sounds and many other assets from the game C&C 3: Tiberium Wars which were worked up by our Developers to work with Renegade.
There are 15+ maps and a few different game-modes such as the classic All Out War, Deathmatch, Co-Op and Domination.

You can download the Tiberium Crystal War v1.52 client from our website at www.tiberiumcrystalwar.com
There are several mirrors available and all are hosted on 100Mbps and 1Gbps connections.

Hm, i have played the beta, and I would suugest a few things to add to the next release:
1. Every class other than those armed with rifles, laserrifles etc. should carry an mp instead of a pistol. It often came to my opinion that one player that baught even the standard soldier class for 300C could kill many other players as they were almost chance less. If you get in a situation were you ether get no credits or chances to buy anything, this means many death and no kills at all for one round.
2. Build 2 powerplants at every base, and some base defences also.

I think the spawncharacter with just a pistol is fine. He has a knife, pistol, repairgun (for vehicles and buildings) and C4 to take out vehicles.
It is not very likely that we will give the spawncharacter any other weapons besides those he has now.
Of course we are testing the game balance wise and i must say i am fairly happy with it. I won games as Nod and GDI numerous times.
That one game where you joined and we were getting owned in our base was because our team lost all the Tiberium Spikes so we had no money income.
Yea i agree it sucks to being owned in base BUT a basic character should not be able to crush vehicles and advanced infantry easily.
Base defenses are under construction and might appear in 1.13

Okay, I wasn't talking about croushing, I was talking about having a good chance in 3vs1. Okay, but on the map with the capturable spikes, we had no chance, as we couldn't get out of the Hand of Nod or either get enough credits to get any kind of infantry to destroy the vehicles. Okay, C4 isn't bad, but for destroying buildings, not vehicles. C4 doesn't pack enough punch to destroy vehicles and you will die many deaths before you come close enough to an enemy vehicle to plant any C4.
