Tainted Fate is an open world horror adventure game played with two protagonists with original gameplay features. The textures on these are work-in-progress while I'm trying to get some money together for a proper digital camera (the bases for the textures you see were taken with an iPhone, not my weapon of choice :D ).

They look fine has is, and you also have online sources for base textures like Cgtextures.com ,imo forget the camera use your expensive cell phone at lest it will serve for something or the link i posted, imo it is enough for you to work on decent game textures.

We'll they're not good enough. The images are grainy and at full resolution you can see the colors are very fuzzy and that translates badly on the texture in-game. The only solution is to downsample the textures to 512x512 or lower. That might be good enough for small models (props, objects), but not for ground textures, skies (360 panorama looks appalling), and tileable stuff.
I also have a rule about using only my own stuff. So the final product can have nothing taken from the internet.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, I want the game to look as good as the engine can take it and as good as I am able to make it, so iphone textures - out. :D
