SYNTH is a new alternative video game for a high-end MS windows PC's. SYNTH was designed and developed by Rhys Paul Hovey. In it's current version (1.666) it has been over two years in the making. SYNTH is 100% mathematically / proceedurally generated. This means that for all of SYNTH's graphics and levels, there is a mathematical function or process from which it was made, making it a very difficult game to program, and in the end quite scalable and unusual. Typically the graphics in a video game are "modeled" by artists with mouse and pen-like touch pads. Everything in SYNTH has a mathematical / algorithmic representation.

These screenshots are an interface for DMM the "SYNTH" in SYNTH. It's graphics are 100% scaling, procedural openGL, so zoom on in, and check out their "native resolution". Check it out!

oh yeah,. with DMM, only the "Main screen" has ever been seen before, on the INTERNET. So you can see it "grow". This is one of the new screens (>10 screens now in total). over 2000 buttons. Very quick and easy to operate.

Description

Here is yet another screenshot from "DAMSIN" the SYNTH in SYNTH. Yes SYNTH the video game is capable of playing back DMM songs, like a jukebox. In the last 2 years, much focus has been on DAMSIN, and SYNTH lies dormant, in the background at version 1.666, waiting for the Next Gen of "CPUs" and video cards to "reignite" SYNTH and DMM back into the same game. DMM is much more powerful that it was before, and SYNTH is going to get it's "truss" finshished, which was just "TOO MUCH" for the last gen hardware. SO much cool things to come, the project is still growing!
