Surgeon Simulator 2013 is a darkly humorous over-the-top operation sim game where players become Nigel Burke, a would be surgeon taking life into his own shaky hands, performing life-saving surgical manoeuvres on passive patients. The original prototype – developed in just 48 hours at the 2013 Global Game Jam in January 2013 – challenged players to complete a heart transplant, armed only with an arsenal of clumsy and inappropriate tools and a hand that was diabolical to control, using a combination of keyboard and mouse actions. The full version now available has been met with critical acclaim and became a hit on YouTube and Steam. It includes new surgeries, back of a speeding ambulance theater, zero-g and a lot of secrets to find out...
This game is very fun to play the first few times, but that feeling diminishes as you play more. Sometimes I feel like it is more fun to watch some famous YouTubers play through the game instead of playing through the game myself. It was a cool and funny idea, but the rate at which the game starts to become boring is at a very high incline, and anyone that doesn't have the best patience is just going to get annoyed. For the sake of your keyboard, don't play this game if you get angry easily.
No matter how hilarious and difficult this is, it's really fun.
It might turn out hard for you at the beginning, but as you master your palms with the A, W, E, R, Space keys, you will love it.
I just didn't like that in the Dual Kidney Transplant level the liver, which is blocking the kidney, gets glitched with the lungs. Making it impossible to complete the level. I had to dig a pencil to get it out.
Yet, this game is amazing. 9/10
