What is Crashes?
Given that only you are complaining about, probably you are doing something wrong.
Excuse me, do you know if this is compatible with other mods? Or should it be, in theory?
It should be applicable to all modes that do not regulate the initial shields. Otherwise, it may not work new upgrades link.
But build exp. shield will be work.
Where should the textures folder be places?
In SupCom Folder (e.g #/steam/steamapps/common/Supreme Commander Forget Aliance/ )

cybrian shield is buggy?! have only 14000 hp
Yes, I'm sorry, an error occurred, the shield should have 140000 Shield Points.

The crash issue mentioned before looks like a compatibility problem with BlackOps ACU/Unleashed from what I can tell. Don't know if there's other mods it does the same thing with, but those mods and yours don't work together, just fyi. Playing without BlackOps though, the shields are great! :)
Interesting. I tried to start this mod with blackops, and I have no problem, the game runs fine.
