Stone Rage™ is a Free-To-Play online third person multiplayer action game set within the Pleistocene and Eocene eras, featuring prehistoric tribalism, prehistoric landscapes and prehistoric animals. Players will take control of a single character of either a human class, neanderthal tribe or animal genus and wreak havoc in a survival-based game mode. As players win games and progress through achievements, options in weapon layout, upgrades and personalized character customization will be unlock, giving a large array of choices to those who do not wish to completely conform to a single archetype.

Every character has a set of unique traits and abilities, as well as unlockables to modify their effects and tactical usage, ensuring that no two games will play the same, and no one player is by default more or less dangerous than another. Situation and opportunity play as much a part in winning a game as how well players use their character skills and environment to their advantage. Since tribal skirmishes and hunts take place across a wide stretch of land, players will encounter sprawling forests with prowling smilodon, vast plains with marching mammoth herds and gastornis scavenging the remains left behind by the prey of dire wolves.

Please do note that, for the time being, all current in-game screenshots and videos were taken in CryEngine. We will be replacing as soon as we have exported our assets into UE4.

Greetings to all of our distant stone age ancestors and to all current day cro magnons. We have a big announcement to make. So big in fact, that it is going to completely overhaul the production of Stone Rage. We want to make our ancestors proud by putting out the best stone age based game possible, and we believe that we can now truly accomplish this noble goal with the support of the spectacular Unreal Engine 4. We have been using CryEngine for some time now, and, unfortunately, we found that we simply could not continue using it; there were far too many major issues. We were unable to learn CryEngine's new animation system (Mannequin) due to a lacking of documentation, and the engine was not programmer friendly enough, causing massive delays in our production. It is because of this that we are more than excited to be switching to an engine that will truly bring out the full potential of Stone Rage. We have an amazing lineup with some incredible programmers, artists, animators, etc.. and we want to make sure that they have just the right engine to ensure that all of their talents are put to use in a functional, and simple manner with as few hangups as possible. Unreal Engine 4 is an amazing piece of programming that is sure to make Stone Rage an amazing piece of playable art. Have a good day, and stay tuned for Stone Rage news!

Had no idea this game existed till now, let alone had an indiegogo campign. Just wanted to say, don't lose hope. I really like the look of what you're doing and im sure it will find a good audience if you manage to release it!
