In this version I removed some bugs which were found by the community.
Welcome to StaudSoft's Synthetic World 0.1! This is the first release of my Open World Sandbox Game. It allows you via a seed to create a unique landscape with mountains, oceans, trees and beaches. Although it looks like a normal game engine, everything in the game is based on voxels. So everything you see can be changed. You can cut down trees, build a house or dig into the ground!
I got the fire algorithm working. Now you can set a tree or a house in fire and it burns down. And as a side effect I improved the speed of the generation algorithm. Check out this video:
The next step is to make the water flowing.
As I mentioned the version 0.2 is finished. But before I can publish it I need to take care of the german bureaucracy. The founding of a company takes in germany usually 2-3 months. And I also need to learn how to make double-entry accounting, deal with the finance authority and so forth. This means a lot of work which hasn't anything to do with the actual game :-(. I will keep you up to date.
