Hello everyone!

With summer upon us we will have considerably more spare time, which will give us more time to work on Station Ishtar, a good thing in my book! Oh and by the way, If you have not checked out our trailer and would like to, press this link.

Currently we have begun working with the second part of the game, which you could say will be the most substantial part of the game. Because of this we have had plenty of discussion how to bulk up our mechanics and make the second part to be as enjoyable as possible. This has proven to be much more difficult than what we had imagined. We know that the GenFlash (the device you use to interact with electrical components on the station) is an interesting device, but at this state we are looking into how to make it really stand out as part of our core mechanics. Making it resource dependent, creating different components that act differently when you "charged them up" are among the things we have talked about. Looking outside of the box we have also thought about introducing a more fluent movement system, with jumping and crawling, but in the end we decided to not go that route. What we are aiming for right now is to create the layout of the second part as soon as possible and then start the testing, which hopefully you will take part of!

Thank you for reading, until next time!
