Starshock Public Demo

Horrible things are happening on the Iapetus moon station. Utilize your tools, your environment and your weapons to try and escape the horrible madness, fighting and running through the dark corridors. Experience a story of an experiment gone horribly wrong through the diaries of the station personnel. Death is final, and it will find you fast if you're careless. Starshock is a retro-esque shooter that takes place in a space station. It is heavily inspired by *shock games and other old first person shooters like Doom or Wolfenstein.

One of the most common feedback was the levels being too small, so we decided on expanding the levels from 20x20 to 40x40 and then re-making the former levels into bigger ones with more content, places and secrets to explore through.
Also to people not liking mazes, too bad but this game or any space station might not be your thing
Make sure that you check out the demo @ Indiedb.com and send us feedback @ starshockdev@gmail.com!

Reminds me of System Shock 1 a lot, which is a good thing :)

Thanks! Bullet sponging is an issue we think we've dealt with. We are hoping to get another demo soon with bigger levels and more balanced weapons/enemies
The premise is awesome!
This game was really entertaining even tough I died rather quick. As a guest mentioned, the robots aim might be too good which makes it very hard and I felt like my only option was to stand there and shoot until one of us died. None the less, great game! Keep up the good work. Is there too expect any multiplayer in the future?
Thanks for the feedback, however I doubt the addition of multiplayer due to the story and lack of my experience in networking
I understands the difficulties adding multiplayer will bring but thank you for the answer and a great game.

Well something we noticed was that we both ended up with a lot of ammo but we thought that it was because we were veterans at the game, apparently not :P
