Developed by Blizzard following the sucessful WarCraft series, Starcraft is undoubtably one of the most innovative and popular RTS games to hit the market. Introducing for the first time three races all completly unique yet perfectly balanced, this made for some fantastic gameplay with zergling rushes, to siege tank massacres. With starcraft having such a cult following there are bountiful mods available from simplistic character changes to new scenarios, and challenges to face. The fact that Starcraft has been game of the year sums up just how good this game is, so crank it up if you are not already playing it!

Description

Full Installer. StarCraft Fusion is another complete (inofficial) Add-On for StarCraft: Brood War. This mod gives 10 brandnew units to the game as well as 4 additional races - by merging the known races together. The races undergo a "fusion". The basic idea about this mod is the Terran Command Center which can be infested by the Zerg Queens. This way you get the chance to train Infested Terrans in the original game. StarCraft Fusion picks this idea up - and adds a whole new race, addicted to the once single Infested Terrans; without replacing the original Terran race. Each race (including the already known races) will get new units and an additional campaign that lets you check out the new forces and makes you fight the new evil. This will finally be made up of 4 new races, 10 new units and 7 campaigns.

This mod looks really great, but I have a problem. I extracted it to my starcraft folder, I ran it from Starcraft Fusion.exe and yes I do have broodwar... but nothing except the loading screen is changed. Any help?

Make sure you have Brood War Patch 1.15.1 installed. In case you have already been above, use SCDowngrader 3 to downgrade your version to 1.15.1. You'll find the download link in the mod profile's summary.

The mod will not use any new buttons and units if not running exactly at this patch version.

In Terran campaign you should be able to build a Phoenix from the Starport already on the first mission (requires attached control tower).

Okay I found the Fusion Campaigns and I looked at the Terrans... nothing new. It said there was supposed to be a phoenix but it wasn't there.
So I skipped to the Hybrids. Noticed the new building that has seemingly no purpose. Xel'Naga Lab I think it was called, but i couldnt make anything from it. Could not build the new hybrid dragoon unit, it wasn't there either.

Check the campaigns (in custom maps folder) for new race restriction.
Meele mode simply allows access to all available units but the Avengers. For that reason no Clone Chamber.
