Awakening of the Rebellion is a singleplay and multiplay mod for StarWars Empire at War. The main feature of AotR is a complete change of the gameplay. We tried to create the single factions as they are shown in the movies. The first version of the Mod was already released in April 2006. We changed the gameplay and added the first own new units like the Dreadnought and other ships for the Rebels and the Empire.
Description
In "Awakening of the Rebellion" you will face a complete change of the gameplay. We created the Galaxy map as it was in the movies and books. You can build your units only on special planets, and you have to choose very different tactics for each faction. The Emire is very strong, but has expensive units, while the Rebellion has weaker units, but cheaper and can use Comando units to infiltrate enemy teretory. In space battles the Rebellion is relying on their superiour fighters, while the Empire has their might in the huge battleships. Best is, you grab a mate, and start to play the galaxy battle against each other ;)
