Face off against both the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. As Tyber Zann, you'll stop at nothing as you seek to become the most notorious criminal leader since Jabba the Hutt. With all new tactics like piracy, kidnapping, racketeering and bribery, you can control the shadowy forces of corruption in your attempt to rule the Star Wars underworld.

The Rebels have just destroyed the death star, and the galaxy is in turmoil. In other words, it's just the time that you, and your Zann Consortium, have been waiting for. Quench your thirst for power as you build and lead your own forces of scum and villainy. Spread corruption throughout the galaxy using new strategic gameplay elements to influence other factions, steal their funds, slow their production, spy on them, and more.

Exciting new land-tactical options like advanced base layout and guerrilla warfare allow for innovative battlefield tactics. Take command of and confront new fighting units for all factions (Rebel B-wings, Imperial TIE Interceptors, Super Star Destroyers and more). Take down anyone who stands in your way of ruling the underworld, be the new battlefield heroes like Luke Skywalker and Yoda, or even your worst bitter rival - Jabba the Hutt.

The ultimate prize awaits: an immense Super Star Destroyer known as The Eclipse. Spanning the length of nearly all of the Star Destroyers seen in the original Empire At War, the deadliest capital ship in the galaxy comes equipped with a superlaser rivaling that of the death star. With it under your control, no one will remember the name Jabba the Hutt - Tyber Zann will be the most feared crime lord the underworld has ever seen...

Where can you find good mods ? Moddb has so many unreleased mods. Is there a good site with a forum and stuff where actually released mods can be found ?

ATTENTION TO ALL YOU "TOTAL-CONVERSION-MOD-CRACKHEAD-NERF-HERDERS"!

STOP FAILING, WE HATE DEAD MOD PROJECTS...

I have yet to see a mod that simply adds a few units and some slight modifications to the existing gameplay.

For example, making the crafts that hold fighters have "larger bays", so instead of about 4-9 squadrons in your fleet, if its a small-medium sized attack force, you have 15-20. More bang for your credits, not to mention a larger scale fights in space. Also, maybe increasing the unit cap for ground assault to be more than 20, by having the control points give 5-6 unit slots, etc, it can't be that hard.

If I had the skills to do it, I'd do it myself. No, dont tell me "well go learn how to do it and do it yourself", you can go to hell, I really don't have the time for that.

To all you guys out there with the "total conversion" idea, most total conversion projects are dead before release, for whatever reason. Do something small, yet amazing, for once. Add a a few units, not too many, and up the stakes with the battles. Simple.

I'm not asking too much, am I?

Someday someone will actually finish a good conversion mod, hopefully it wont be total crap, but for now take some baby steps and finish something for once.

My previous comment does not apply to Rise of the Mandalorians, which turns out is a fantastic mod, as well one or two others that have made a very slight conversion, but nothing terribly drastic, and turned out to be great. However this gives us the score;

COMPLETE MODS: ~10%
DEAD OR DYING MODS: ~90%

My math is complete ****, but you get the picture.

So my anger goes out to all the EvE, Halo, and so on, total conversions, which are either dead, slowing falling onto a knife, or are at a standstill due to whatever excuse that falls out of the modder's ***.

More workie, less badie. Go go!!

Admirallotus : Please die in a car fire, if you really think no mods do this, you're the most ignorant person to ever set foot in the EaW/FoC community. Thank you, and good day.

Shaza: I bask in my ignorance, in fact, I rent it out on weekends.

The only problem with your statement is that none of the mods ON THIS SITE provide what I was talking about, I've looked. Now if you're done attempting to bash me by wishing a horrible painful gut-wrenching death upon me, I would greatly appreciate any links to other modding communities that would be more beneficial than moddb has been.

But then again you want me to die in a car fire, I'm guessing similar to how my brother died in his Humvee in Iraq to an IED a year ago.

Thanks for bringing up painful memories bud. Love and kisses.

Admirallotus, go to EaW Files. There's plenty of mods that just add one unit or change one aspect of the game. Mod Database is more or less meant for the large conversion projects that you have such a problem with. The point of us modding is to change a game to bring it more into line with what we want for it. For you that may just be a few new units and other small changes, and there's nothing wrong with that but for others they want something bigger to work on and have different ideas for what the game should be.

You say we shouldn't tell you that if you want the game a certain way then you have to go and do it yourself because you have no time, but guess what? Tough luck, it's true. You can't just expect the people who have taken the time to learn these skills to drop everything they want to do because you've got different ideas, they don't work for you.
