The new version search the performance from the previous 6.5 versions with some new features, fixes and as the previous version, a smaller code than other mods with the same amount of different units, factions, campaigns, galactic conflicts and more.

The list of new features is smaller than in other versions but it was made mostly at 5 months and it will not be the last release from this year for this game.

-Bigger icons. Probably you did not put too much attention in the previous icons. Perhaps you thought how they were smaller at comparation to the original game. Yes, they were but by one good reason. The older and poorer graphic cards can not load a tga file bigger from 16 megabytes where all the icons are saved with a coordinates system. The most powerful and modern graphics cards have not this type of problem. Now, several years after I release the smaller icons and with most people playing with more modern computers, there is not a very good reason for to continue with the smaller icons and I have replaced them by bigger icons, in fact the 50% from them were replaced by new icons and all the mod look very different and good. Probably before, you needed a nearer view in fighters, now the icons from fighters are bigger and more detailed, thanks to this you do not need a close zoom.



Some special units as stations, upgrades and more, they get new style of icons.



-The galactic conflicts. Most of them remains equal because they had not problems. But the Jedi Academy to Dark Saber galactic conflict has been changed. Now it is named Dark Saber and the Jedi Academy events have been removed. If you want them, you can find them in the grand campaing from the mod. This new Dark Saber gc adds heroes from Dark Saber book and Crisom Empire comics time line. By this reason, there are several new heroes from the Crisom Empire II comics.



-The space skirmiss mod has been improved. In previous versions, the AI attacked you with a lot of units in the begining from each battle. You had few chances from to win and it was very difficult. I reduced the building speed but it was not too fun and battles were too massive. Now it does not happen. The building speed is the default from the original game and the AI gives you some of time before it starts to attack you.



Perhaps it is not very perfect because the AI could be more random with the attacks but with the amount of different units from the mod, the default system from the original game does not work. I needed to create some new code if I want see a skirmiss battle with everything.

-New units. There are several new units, specially ground units, some of them from the old TFU games and very probably you recognize them.



-The music has been updated with some melodies from Episode VII.

-There are many new improves and fixes in the code.

-Some missing things have been fixed.

ok so im looking to change the goals in the empire at war Ai. i want them to attack more often and more aggressively. right now if i set the computer on fast forward and go to sleep ill wake up and still no attack just tons of money. that's not cutting it and making the game very boring. if anyone can help me id the code and the xml for the Ai i would be very grateful. ( ps also all the ods i download arent working. (rise of the mandalorians, and "the clone wars" mods have Ai's don't do anything not even build anything need to find a fix for those)

Have you tried Republic at War? The AI in that mod is EXTREMELY brutal and after a certain point in time, they do almost nothing but attack.

You'll want to tweak the equations in OffensiveGalacticEquations.xml, located in Data\XML\AI\PerceptualEquations\ specifically the Is_Good_Invasion_Target equation. You can take a look at my little addon mod if you want, I've done a lot of tweaks with the AI in it.

Anybody know of a way to make the speed options vary more? A few people want to slow things down in my add-on mod, but it is already as slow as I can stand with the options set to max.

Do you guys know if I can download mods under the forces of corruption section even if I don't have forces of corruption? I have the base game without any DLC or extra content, I know this sounds like a stupid question but I'd rather not damage my computer! Thanks!

It wouldn't damage your computer, but the mod probably wouldn't run because of the missing files.

I can't install editors SwEAWFOC mod, creating a mod failed to me but I want create a mod. Can you help create a mod and install editors with instructions? I haven't much time so try creating a mod. Coding xml is error and i can't. For me is very hard.

Has anyone else had any trouble with the mod list? It doesnt show the mods for me anymore and it says that "Iphone" mods was searched yet i never did that and when i press mod list below the search (which says should be the mod list without any extra search criteria) nothing changes.
