It's finished! After lots of blood, sweat, and bugs (programming, not the living kind), our first independent project is complete. As you know, Bloodlines represents our first effort with Adam's Zol engine, so feedback would be very appreciated. Most importantly, have fun playing the game! If you have any questions about the game, be sure to check out the help file and if that doesn't answer your question, drop us a line and we'll try to help you out.

This is so close to being finished, it's not funny.
Keep your eyes peeled, because you never know...
Hope interest in this project hasn\'t waned completely...I know it\'s been a while since there were any major updates, but my inability to visit most of these web pages over break at work has sort of hindered my ability to post them...but rest assured the game is still in production, and progress has been very good lately.
Another development is that the project might get moved over to use DirectX8 instead of graphics API calls.
No, it's not dead. We just too a very extended break. We do have all intentions of finishing this very soon. If I get in gear, we should be able to complete it in a month or two.
Heheh...I don't hate you. I have heard that angle before on Anakin's lineage (I've also heard it said that Shmi and Paplpatine were involved while he was a senator, but that he sold her into slavery on Tatooine to avoid political scandal).
That is an interesting take on the matter, though I personally still hold to the belief that Anakin did bring balance to the Force as Mace Windu predicted, he just took the long way getting there. Since the release of ROTS, Lucas has given a lot of in-depth information on the entire saga, as he has nothing to hide anymore. Among all the intimate details he's given, he's said nothing to the effective of Anakin actually having a father, which would be a pretty big omission. What good would it do George to have come up with a huge twist like that if he was the only one who knew it?
I suppose if you're arguing that by keeping the Sith order alive, Palpatine was indirectly creating the need for one who would bring balance to the Force, than he is sort of responsible for the creation of Anakin, though not really as a father, and not directly because of his actions.
One way or the other, Luke's reply in the intro story doesn't establish my belief in one side of the argument or the other. For those astute enough to observe the discrepency between what Amon-Ra says and what we know of the movie saga, it may give some insight as to where the story is ultimately going... :)
Well anakin does have a father...kind of. It was Darth Sidious. (and don't be hating me for this.) Darth Sidious used the knowledge from Darth Plagus to create life using the dark side, so he could create Anakin to pose as the "chosen one" to fulfill the so called prophecy. It was all part of his plan. Except one minor flaw. He did fulfill the prophecy, as Vader did eventually destroy the sith and bring balance to the force by killing The emperor at the end of ROTJ. Just something to debate over. :)
I know that, and you know that, but the question is does Luke know that yet...I was waiting for someone to mention this at some point or the other (the story wasn't written until after Episode 1 was already out).
um... anakin has no father
This is looking great!
It's only been posted pretty recently, though the game has been in the works for a while. I'd bet good money on it being finished...we're pretty passionate about the project. Hopefully the engine will go on to do even greater things some day.
