It's finished! After lots of blood, sweat, and bugs (programming, not the living kind), our first independent project is complete. As you know, Bloodlines represents our first effort with Adam's Zol engine, so feedback would be very appreciated. Most importantly, have fun playing the game! If you have any questions about the game, be sure to check out the help file and if that doesn't answer your question, drop us a line and we'll try to help you out.

i just got my light saberback and im so stuck.
Yeah, it definitely has that look. I'm a big fan of "old school" type adventure games of this sort, which is why we made it to begin with...
Awesome, it looks like Yoda Stories from in the day :D
There's a rather nasty bug in the game that can be avoided by not saving your progress while playing as a character other than Luke. Restoring a game saved while not Luke causes your health and ammo to drop to 0 when you change back. There is an update for the game in the works and it will be released once we've not had any more reports of new bugs for a few days. The update will fix all known bugs and quirks up to this point.
Also, we do have forums enabled for this project, feel free to use them. Thanks.
Well, if the item says "heart of evil", it's just there to signify the change that's been applied to Luke when the game restarts itself. Of course, if it says "heart of the jedi" then the same applies. You don't use it for anything, it just means you've activated a secret mode. I'll tell you right now that the ending of the game doesn't change when you play in the different modes, they're just designed to make it a little more fun the next time you do play through (don't forget you can save if you don't feel like replaying it right after you've won and unlocked something).
Thanks for the useful feedback so far. We can test all day long for bugs, but even then if there's stuff that players in general aren't nuts about that we didn't notice, we'd never have known to tweak it in the future without these sort of comments. I too missed having an autosave feature. Maybe that will show up in one of our future games...not sure if it will make it into Bloodlines anymore.
So you got the heart of the Jedi? Good job!
just finished the game. nice work!!
(what the hell is the heart for??)
just thought it wouldn't hurt to give the game some pre-rendered sequences, would it?
found it, but stuck again... gonna solve by myself now.
i found an explosive and used it with the at at, but it only explodes. nothing else happened.
I'm thinking DirectX because it allows me to do a few extra cool things, plus it isn't too hard to do the switch.
Re: The AT-AT scene: Be sure to check out everything on the screen. You might find something useful. :)
