Many people think Mass Effect 3's Multiplayer should have been more similar to Battlefield or Battlefront with large-scale epic battles and the like...
Capturing the drama and epic conflict of Star Wards, Battlefront II brings the fight online. Attention to detail and scale make this game a joy to behold, with 16 incredible new battlefronts such as Utapau, Mustafar and the space above Coruscant, as well as the Death Star interior and Tantive IV, Princess Leia's blockade runner seen at the beginning of the original Star Wars.
So here's the Sherman Firefly that I've been working on for about the entire week is nearing completion. Keeping the ZeroEngine limitations in mind, I've got all the aspects of the Sherman Firefly historically accurate as I could possibly make it. This includes speed, turret rotation and even armor thickness damage values. A lot of research went into this tank, and there's still a little bit more to go for it like improving the texture and the feel of the tank. No gameplay video yet though, but soon...
Anyway, here's the video!
Brief explanation on what I mean by armor thickness damage values:
Basically what I've done is gathered up historical data on the Sherman Firefly armor and applied that data on the entire in-game tank. So facing the front of your tank towards the enemy actually matters. And having your rear exposed to the enemy could result in a quick, and untimely death.
Thanks again to everyone for watching the mod. Next update will probably show off some gameplay with the tank completely finished.
