It's not fan-made it's real, it was at the E3 press conference last night from EA
That's because Disney handed the game side of things off to other companies.
Like Dice, in this case.

Do you honestly think that it will release in August!?!?!? The deal for EA to make star wars games just happened not too long ago, and they've probably only had time to go through concepts and make this cinematic trailer. If anything, we might get footage in august-december, but I doubt it.
It was stated that we can expect no release of any star wars games before April 2014.
I REALLY hope EA doesn't ea this game....

Sweet. A Battlefront game made by the creators of Battlefield.
It's taken a long while and many cancellations but at last we are finally going to get a next gen Battlefront. I'm stocked! The only features I really hope for from previous titles is third person and a single player conquest mode. Mod tools would be a nice addition too but considering Dice didn't release any for Battlefield 3 I'm not too optimistic.

I'd be really happy if it'd share Free Radical's vision of Battlefront 3... That nextgen feel of beauty where you'd be able to start at the planet atmosphere and swiftly switch to the space, ah, and whenever you want - just get back to the atmosphere, to the planet ground, keeping the pace in fight wherever you feel the need... I'm not even sure if I want to buy the new battlefront anymore, just too much is missing from the prvious games. From what is announced yet, I can say the vanilla battlefront 2 is still better then DICE's game, and with all those great mod, it far more than superior.
This is not Battlefront.. this game is abomination only with Title "battlefront" but this is not successor of 1 and 2, this is.. battlefield game in SW design, its a lie and shame..
