Post news Report RSS A Gentle Start for December

Over the autumn months we have been a little quieter than usual, please accept our apologies! However the good news is that although we have been quiet we have been working very hard to meet some of the biggest goals of the project.

Posted by on

Any of you following us on Twitter will have seen screengrabs and photos hinting at some of the big stuff we have been working towards over the past few months. As the end of the 2012 draws closer we are making a massive effort to bring as much of that work to a conclusion as possible. Even better, rather than squireling that good news away we are going to get info about these developments posted throughout the month of December.

Today we have started things off gently with a new Hardpoint Editor update by Luke looking at some of the more aesthetically focused features we have implemented over the past few weeks.

In addition we have a quick journal-style entry from our UI genius Aric who spent most of October and November working his fingers to the bone on some great UI updates. The item is a must read for any web-savvy readers amongst you who are wondering just how on earth HTML and CSS can be used to build an entire game interface.

So what's next? Well the thumbnail image for this article should give you a clue to whats coming up in the next week, but after that we have some massive new features to demonstrate. Stay tuned to our page here on Indie DB for more info, or if you want the scoop on what the team is up to right now take a look at our Twitter feed!

PS: Our nomination for IOTY 2011 meant a great deal to the team, if you want to show your support again please do vote for us in 2012! Thanks :D
