Excalibur breaks the mould of traditional space simulation games by putting the player firmly in the boots of an experienced Starfleet captain. From the outset you will be able to control your character and command your ship as if you were standing on the bridge yourself. From taking direct control of the helm, to transferring command of any ship in your task force, or even calling your senior staff to the briefing room to discuss mission tactics; Excalibur is the most immersive Star Trek experience ever. Set six months after the events in Star Trek: Nemesis, Excalibur's story mode deals with the turbulent political scene caused by a decade of war and turmoil. From the second Borg incursion in First Contact, to the fall of the Dominion and the collapse of the Romulan political system; these events resulted in huge loss of life and changed the Alpha Quadrant forever.

Meet the PR Team
Hi, my name is Rick and I'm a member of the ST:E Public Relations Team.
Well, a few basics about me: I'm 24 and live in Lincolnshire, UK. In that strange world otherwise known as Real Life I am a Petrol Station & Customer Service Team Leader for one of the UK's largest supermarket groups.
I joined the ST:E Team in 2011 as the Wiki Liaison, and progressed to the PR Team after the Wiki's successful launch.
Star Trek has been a part of my life since I was about 5 year old; my Mum had made me sit still and be quiet while we watched TWOK, and I have been hooked since! My favourite series is DS9, my favourite Captain is Janeway and the Intrepid Class is my favourite ship.
My main goal as a member of the PR Team is to enhance the communications between the Team and you guys, our community. I hope to introduce more ways for you to interact with us and get you involved with our new monthly updates. If you have any suggestions feel free to pop me a PM or email (email@example.com), and don't forget you can follow me and many other members of the team on Twitter (@excalibur_rick)
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to chatting with you on the forums!
I'm Colette and I help out with the ST:E Public Relations. I recently graduated from Oxford University at the ripe old age of 21 and am currently living in the rolling green of Derbyshire, UK. I am one of the newest recruits to the Excalibur team, having only joined at the start of this year (2012). I'd previously worked on the promotion and PR for some events such as theatre productions and balls at university and revelled in the chance to help out the team and get involved.
My experience with Star Trek is tied to that of nostalgia. I used to watch N.G on TV with my Dad when I was a kid and adored the vivid worlds and crazy species they used to encounter. I love the fact that working on this game means I can explore more about this world and learn things I never really knew!
As a member of the PR team, our goals are fairly simple. We want you guys to know as much about the game as we do (save for spoilers!) and to get you guys as drooling over the great work the Excalibur team is doing. If you think you have some skills the team could use, look on the forums about helping us out. The more people we have working on the game, the sooner it will be ready, and the sooner it's ready, the sooner you guys can play it! We love to hear from you so don't be scared to send a message or post on the forums. We'll be giving you some juicy bites of info each month, so check us out on twitter, facebook, our website and the forums!
