Star Fighter is a 3D space/flight combat simulation with a focus on high-quality graphics and difficult, varied, and fast-paced gameplay.
A wide variety of enemies, weapons (black hole gun!), and environments keeps the game fresh and never repetitive.
Custom game engine built with MonoGame with many handcrafted special effects. Runtime fractal planets allow the player to warp through space between planets, moons, and space stations in seconds. Shields, explosions, black holes, and cloaking fields distort your vision. Even the stars parallax when warping between galaxies.

I have done some first-person experiments: the gameplay is really fun in first-person but I need a better 3D model for the cockpit. I'd like to get a VR set to test it that way, I bet it'd be incredible.

Glad you like it. It's inspired by a lot of 90s games like the Wing Commander Series, the X-Wing Series, StarFox, and Raptor Call of the Shadows.
Game looks good, but the fighter HUD could use a facelift. Maybe transparency, beveling, glow, and sci-fi colors. You could browse around the fantasy user interface sub-reddit for ideas: /r/FUI
