The sourcecode of the game's prototype will be released.

Hey everyone,

As you might have seen, we've recently uploaded the sourcecode of our prototype for the Alpha. It has several reasons why we've done this. And it also offers an opportunity for the community.

First of all the reasons. The main reason is that we've become too busy with real life stuff, in order to finish the game on a reasonable timeframe. I work 5 to 7 days a week, 9 hours a day. Zeroseconds is getting a fulltime job in Poland, so that'll also make communication a bit harder. Secondly, our main goal is to see a game like this become a reality, not to make a game to make profit from it. So we support an open development process, where people can easily build upon this work.

So, what does the opportunity mean? Well, since the sourcecode has been released, anyone can build upon and improve this work. We're actually encouraging it! As can be read in the license.txt, non-commercial works are allowed by default. If you are making one, you're free to add it as a mod for this game! For commercial works, a seperate license will have to be made.

For the rest, this means that we'll be putting less effort into this game for some time. We might finish it later on, or we may not. With the little spare time we have, we're gonna make a more simple game, which will be announced once it has reached an advanced phase. For now, just keep an eye on our tweets. We'll leak sometimes info's from it.
