Hey all,
after having tried some stuff in the standard C# language, I started looking into other stuff related to C#. If you're looking into game development, you can't avoid looking at SlimDX and XNA.
Since I have some XNA books, I started looking into XNA. After a few hours of reading, I was able to make some basic XNA-based applications which draw stuff and respond to user input.
The first of these is a very simple application, which only listens to 2 types of user input. It also is just an application which generates sprites. It was programmed within 10 minutes with only basic knowledge of XNA.
Have a look for yourself here
*Requires XNA framework 3.0, read the readme for the controls*
You can surely expect more beautiful stuff soon!
Cheers,
Roberto
