In 1986, the world's worst nuclear disaster occurred at the Chernobyl power station. Soviet authorities established a 30km 'Exclusion Zone' around this nuclear wasteland, but in 2006 a second explosion rocked the stricken reactor, obliterating all living things and causing the Zone's boundaries to ripple outwards. From this epicenter came waves of mutated creatures, deadly radiation, and a strange, anomalous energy. The Zone was cordoned off by the military, who would shoot on sight anyone foolish enough to brave the horrors within.
Would someone belive me when i say, that i have never uninstalled this Game.
I Love it.
( Except reinstalling when adding new Mods, though ; )
i forgot to review lol
good and comfortable gameplay
the possibility of modding the game is high and almost every aspect can be modded
it's a really ******* awesome game
A Game intended only for the serious and hardcore players, can you survive the Zone ?
The most atmospheric, immersive PC game of my life. Absolutely perfect.
Buggy and unoptimized. Yet, quite easily one of the best games that I've ever played.
This game is probably the best game I have ever played, on the highest graphics, decent headphones and no distractions, you really get into the zone of this game and feel as if you're actually there, trust me, they had the right to say 'The most atmospheric game ever'.
Other than just the atmosphere, the game-play is great too! some people say that Clear Sky or Call Of Pripyat is better, but I have played them all, but Shadow of Chernobyl keeps me coming back for more.
And I love the endings!
Absolutely great game, highly reccomend it.
uwielbiam ten ****
Even though graphics weren't good side of it, the sheer fun of playing and scary atmosphere got me playing STALKER still today and finding new stuff even though I passed it numerous times.
if games were art, then S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl is Mona Lisa
