In 1986, the world's worst nuclear disaster occurred at the Chernobyl power station. Soviet authorities established a 30km 'Exclusion Zone' around this nuclear wasteland, but in 2006 a second explosion rocked the stricken reactor, obliterating all living things and causing the Zone's boundaries to ripple outwards. From this epicenter came waves of mutated creatures, deadly radiation, and a strange, anomalous energy. The Zone was cordoned off by the military, who would shoot on sight anyone foolish enough to brave the horrors within.

Thanks for the translation, just one thing, I can't scroll on the weapon descriptions, do you know why? Also one thing I noticed is that the attachments are actually called devices so you get something like "disconnect the device" when you remove a weapon addon, sounds weird atleast for me, other than that the translation seems nice.
I never touched the weapon files or attachment files. I do know, in order to scroll down, you have to hit the little arrows on the right side of the descriptions. I'm not sure why its like that but it is. I also might have time to fix that weapon attachment popup and get a little more dialogue done this weekend at some point. Not sure though.

It appeared to be just silencers that said device. I have now changed that in the new file upload. Thanks for the help!
Got a problem, the game's timecycle based on real time, I am playing for couple of days now but ingame its still very slow and the rain/thunder never stops- driving me crazy. where i can change the time speed?
The time cycle is from New Arsenal and not from this but it can be changed by editing time_factor in the alife.ltx. I believe 10 is the vanilla soc number. You might also have to start a new game in order to see the change.

Any chance of a translation for 4.5? It's far more accessible than 4.4 now (I think most links to 4.4 have been deleted, and there's a Serega_Lus repack for 4.5 now).
I tried applying the 4.4 translation to 4.5 but there's script and config files that are removed/vastly different.
I wish I could translate it myself but I no longer have the tools to do so since I reformatted my computer.
I can't get your translation to work with the 4.4 version I found either :(. Really want to try this mod out, seems like a nice Arsenal Overhaul-type mod for SoC.
I apologise it took so long for me to get back to you. I haven't been gaming in a few months due to life. As of right now I won't be updating the translation unfortunately. Anyone is free use this translation and upload a newer version though. You could also try tk's Google drive translation page to see if he has updated his. Again, I'm sorry but I have way too much going on right now.
