A group of stalkers, for the first time, reaches the very heart of the Zone-the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant-and triggers a cataclysm on the brink of a catastrophe. An immense blast of anomalous energy transforms the Zone: the once reliable and relatively safe roads are no longer so, the landscape is wiped clean by outbursts of anomalies, and previously unknown areas appear on the Zone map. Stalkers and expeditions perish or end up isolated within the lost territories.

This is a good one if you run something like Smurths' dynamic HUD addon and dont have minimap enabled. While I can understand that the beep can also act as butthole clencher when you dont know if the people around you are buddies or baddies. I personally like to have the beep off and be in the complete unknown of who might be lurking around. Thanks! :)

acutally why im here. just got rid of the mini map on Smurths DH, now looking to remove noise. i think its actually better gamwplay like this.
the only thing the mini map is good for is finding bodies and even if you use it in battle its annoying having to shoot your eyes to the corner every few seconds, also using Smurths DH sometimes part of the mm gets covered by the helmet frame, again, making it useless and ultimately more of a distraction.
now the only thing i would love is a way to edit the crosshairs. i don't like playing with them but unlike the npc's that can pick you out a mile away in my games with warfare I constantly get shot because Im second guessing if the person Im going to shoot is on my side since factions wear other outfits (outfit addon) so im forced to have crosshairs on.
