Past SRB2 developers AJ “SSNTails” Freda and Mike “Spazzo” Antonakes have released their first commercial title for iOS: Roly Poly Putt!
The game is a platforming / mini-golf hybrid that takes inspiration from Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Monkey Ball. It also contains quite a few nods to their previous time with SRB2 that fans may appreciate.

Roly Poly Putt is available for purchase on the iTunes App Store:
If you own an iOS device, check it out!

As for SRB2 development, apologies for the lack of updates - however, development has been continuing at a steady pace, and a detailed wiki page for progress on v2.1 may be found here:

Yes sir. I should probably maintain this profile better and write a news post or something, but there's not a whole lot to write about at the moment. However, development is still going steady, and can be tracked on the public SRB2MODS Trac here:

I dont get it , such negative comments over a free game . I mean its free , developers are not earning much money out of this. And its Hard work. Stay positive guys. I mean the intention is to make a good critic about it not to complain as old Granma. So for the guys who are making this . Keep doing it . There is a bunch of ppl who is enjoying this.Keep the goal devs!

I looked played the game, And The music was very good. Better than the original. I was so excited to play this game on the pc AND psp. So I downloaded the psp version, and it failed miserably. Went like 1 fps. If you guys say you are going to make a game for a certain platform, then assure that It will be playable and enjoyable, Not run at unbearable speeds. You had me and My cousin excited to try this game on our psp, and it failed. I highly suggest you take it off the psp section before you disappoint even more people.

Now the PC version wasn't that great either. I was so excited to play, and the Controls were ridiculous. it was hard to move and turn and such. Then online, the controls lagged. it would take a second for me to actually move. I hope this isn't your final version, because there are still alot of things that need to be fixed. But Good job so far.

10/10 for capturing the original sonic gameplay in a 3d environment, but 5/10 for controls and level design. To be honest, the level design is pretty bad, as is obvious by the second stage. The player should not be sent back to the start of the level for going off of a spring at the wrong angle. Also, I keep getting a graphical glitch where all the colors are inverted it occurred about halfway into the first level, fixed itself at the stage finish, and then started up again a little ways into stage 1-2.
