Spud's Quest is an indie adventure game for Windows that draws its inspiration from retro classics like the Dizzy series, The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid. The project was successfully funded on Kickstarter in November 2012. Take on the role of Spud and his friend Prince Charming, who has been cursed by an evil wizard and turned into a frog. The pair set on a journey to uncover four ancient elemental essences that have the power to banish the evil and remove the curse.

Chris Davis has released a new trailer for his indie adventure game Spud's Quest, which is due to be released next month for Windows:
The game has been in the making for over ten years and is described as a love letter to adventure games of old- most notably the classic Dizzy series that reigned the UK gaming scene in the late 80s/early 90s.
It was successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2012, despite running alongside The Oliver Twins' very own Dizzy Returns Kickstarter, which unfortunately never reached it's target.
