Blog RSS Feed Report abuse Latest News: SpAI Epic Demo

1 comment by Snooper on Feb 12th, 2012

After continous interest in our game and a lack of updates from us, we've decided to release the demo we presented at Epic Games studio. Keep in mind that this was produced to be a short and sweet 5-10 minute run through of out game concept and exists as a snapshot of the core pillars of our gameplay. The demo comes with basic instructions for any of those new to SpAI, we don't expect anyone who finished the original release to require such instructions but it could never hurt to look if you get stuck or need to refresh your memories.

DOWNLOAD HERE

Thanks for continually downloading our game and spreading word about it, we've seen SpAI pop up in numerous overseas game magazines and independent blogs! We look forward to releasing more information about our current work in developing SpAI into a fully fledged game in the coming months.

Cheers,
~SpAI Team

Aiva is so pretty!
I think I'm in love with a video game character... Is there a support group for that?

I have now tried the game, and I must say amazing Cyber/Tron universe its stunning, however I must say some critic too so here it goes, I never understood the hacking firewall game, I just clicked randomly and walked through, and the controls are very shacky + it's very fast phased so the decryption mini-game gets very annoying (not because of difficulty but because of controls+speed)
And lastly; what do I do about those turrets? I just ran past them but ain't there a way to defeat them?
Keep on the good work, you have much to tweak, and maybe some (we don't know) to add, I'm now tracking!

Thanks for the feedback! We did fix the mouse/camera motion in the final release. And the tutorials have been refined.

There's a wall to hack on your right when you first see the turret. Use the blocks that change the laser's direction in order to disable the turret.

Have downloaded the demo, and had the same reaction as the previous two posters. Very worthwhile and very stylish game. Now watching.

However, I've been experiencing problems on my ATI x64 computer. It runs VERY laggy and says that the lighting must be rebuilt. Needs to be fixed PRONTO.
