green is grass (Bram has been working on the game play art like grass, trees and much other stuff)
brown is the dirt which is the same as before.

The editor does not draw the landscape like Spacebit yet I am working on that right now :)

The number on the tile is the Tile index because this map is 2000x and 2000y the total tile Index is 3,999,999

the Tools will be going on the right side of the screen so you can select material types, objects, and terrain height.

The red square is the mouse selection you can increase the size or decrease the size of the selection

This is great!
I think you should Increase the Maximum :D just in case ;)
And that area spawn thing is a good idea too.

Description

Here is the World editor which will let you create your own worlds to play on in much more detail and send maps to friends or even upload for the community to play.

At the moment the editor loads a world and saves a world the current maximum tile dimensions you can pick is 4,000 by 4,000 which is 16mill tiles which seems a little too much lets just say in game it will take you a good couple hours just to reach 1 side of the map.

I was thinking of making the maximum 8,000 by 8,000 which is 64mill tiles which i dunno seems overkill but let me know what you think :)

the editor will allow you to place trees, objects, structures, alien structures, monster spawn points this will mean your monsters you fight at night wont always be the same they will be based on the area the creator chooses i think this is better, but let us know what you think.

there will also be animal spawn points so specific animals will spawn in different types of areas, there will also be weather emitters which will change the weather based on the area. You pick specific spawn points where players may spawn you could have up to as many spawn points as you want which will be randomly selected for a player as their origin re spawn point.

At the moment I have allot of work to do with the editor but the hard part is finished so its all just a matter of adding the options to select different things to place on the tiles.
