Solitude (Working Title) is a PSP and PC game using a heavily modified Quake engine, expanding upon the story of Halo: Combat Evolved. Xalener has been working on this for about a week, this should really make Solitudes multiplayer a lot more fun, as the main asset you see is the Spartan it's got to look as great as can be.
I like it. I like the original as well though...
The old ones proportions were off, the black parts didn't have a texture, and there were alot of errors when rigged. But sure, I guess the old one was alright.

hmmm i imagine the texture is just a place holder for now (hmmm the more i look at the new model the more i think it fits in, since spartans are like 2+ mts tall and the old build looks more like a compact body build)
edit: samuk do you have a poly count for the new spartan?
With all of the detail put into the new texture, I highly doubt it is a place holder.

I haft to say that I like the new one better, It feels way more complete, and as well as more streamlined.
But we should see some shots of it in game, to see how it fit. before we go all crazy.

The model is way better, the texture is way better EXCEPT its too greenish brown.. people think the old one is better but really they just like the brighter green and brighter face mask (yellow is a little dull)\
the dark parts under arms and such where is was pitch black before should be a little bit darker. Other wise, great work! love the new spartan.
i like the first one. it looks more like the originals in my opinion. but the (colors) of the textures on the new one are better.
i like the kinda new one the first one looks like its washed out in color. and the new one looks like an alien.

The hips on the new one look more womanly and the chest looks a little skinny, lacking a little muscle.
I like the new one much more, the old one looks like a cone...
What i like about the new spartan is that it is more life like, the colour is more real.
The new model looks ****** in this picture, though other pics of it look MUCH better.

The old one looked absolutely fine but the new one looks awesome! Seriously, it's 200% better. It looks more realistic, it looks kinda more detailed and I just like it more. :D
