This is fantastic concept art, was it made in 3d and then rendered? Or is it a drawing or something?
I'm not really sure but I can eliminate the drawing option - Concepts are supposed to be like early work - they can be created fairly fast and easily. If this were hand drawn it would take forever!!

I would say its probably 3D.
I'd say it's 3d too. I guess you can kinda tell by the stretch marks on the terrain. Or it could be a mix of both drawing and 3d art.
I personally don't know for sure but it looks like a matte painting to me. For those people asking weather it's 2d or 3d it is technically photo references that are painted over each other, overlayed, and layered.

Looks very unfinished. It's blended in bad way.
However it has nice atmosphere.
What would you suggest to fix it and what part of it is blended in a bad way.
It looks good till you zoom in. For example, take a look far, where trees connects with sky (on the right side). It's cutted in very strange way, I dunno even how to explain it.
Next thing is that mountain on right. Check bottom part of it. Can you see those strange looking trees down there?
I don't like this strange tower-like blue thingy in the background. It looks like a huge rock or something like that.
The rest is fine :).
