Valchion is a action RPG with retro graphics and simple mechanics. It features bright, GameBoy Color-styled visuals, and a (hopefully) memorable soundtrack. It should be released for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It's also being made with the Blender Game Engine, which features fast game creation and no time spent exporting to an external engine.

Showing the better reload bar that I implemented, along with a part of a new map (a warehouse).
does it still flash the words RELOAD when your out? Perhaps it could make a different noise when your dry, or if your going for the undertone of arcade than ignore me.
Nah, it doesn't currently show "RELOAD" when you're out of ammo, though that would be a good idea, I think. It does make a different sound if you try to shoot without ammo, though.
