Read this before playing:

  • Before calling this a rip-off, we have taken legit permission from AgentParsec (Mark J. Hadley) before we started developing this game and he did say Yes.
  • We want to get the old Slender: The Arrival feeling in this game, so it's like a remake.
  • No assets in this game are what you call "stolen". We either use free assets from free websites or we also use the same assets that Blue Isle used in Slender The Arrival.
  • Try to play Slender: Anxiety in the highest graphics settings if your computer is good for a fun experience.
  • If you cannot move the mouse, adjust the sensitivity in Options.

Slender: Anxiety is a story-driven horror game created by Hades Productions which will be using the Unity3D engine. This game is based off Slender: The Arrival made by Blue Isle Studios and Parsec Productions.

Taking place after the events of Slender: Anxiety BETA. This game will tell the story of the survivors and witnesses of the tall bald man. They keep their terrifying secrets and experiences stored in camcorders and tapes, only left for other witnesses to find. They all have to stop HIM and end what they call this "Hell on Earth". Going to different places and locations, they all have to finish their objective... while at the same time staying away from HIM. But that's the question: Will they manage to survive the wrath of HIM?

Using the Unity3D engine, Slender: Anxiety will try to offer a different Slender experience for the players. Our aim is to make an unforgettable Slender experience for the players. If you think that this is just a generic Slender clone, you are wrong! This Slender game will be even better than that! This Slender game will offer different locations for you to explore. Different threats for you to face. You will not be only collecting pages. Our aim is to add the collection mechanic while at the same time keeping it away. We don't want to keep players bored. We want them to be entertained by this game. The team over here listens to your complaints and use them to make the game better. We're also trying our best to make sure the game isn't "poorly optimized". We're finding every technique there is to make sure that this game will run on everyone's computers without any lag or framerate issues. Our goal is to entertain the players.

Progress has been slowed down.

Hey guys, we just want to say, thank you all so much for keeping support on us, we really appreciate it. We're trying our best to make sure that Slender: Anxiety does release and the release will be good, but then there are some problems that we have to face. And at the moment Slender: Anxiety will be on hold for a short time due to severe problems. The problem is that, we're facing severe problems with our computers, which causes slowing down of development. Which is the reason why we wanted to do the Kickstarter, but then we don't know who to use for funding for the Kickstarter. Which is why that was also on hold.

But do not fret, by the time our problem with the PC is over, Slender: Anxiety will be BACK TO DEVELOPMENT. We'll make sure the DEMO will be released.

I had a go at this sometime ago. I seem to have little problems with finding pages on the first map, though I found there to be too many red herrings. The second map though is where I couldn't find pages at all. At first, I thought the giant rocks count as "landmarks" in this game just as they did in The Eight Pages. Nix. I'm not sure if I'm not looking hard enough or the pages are elsewhere. I'll give it another go just to make sure.

Why didn't you read the description? It clearly says why I made the game similar to the original. And before calling it a ripoff or stealing...I asked AgentParsec (creator of the original Slender) for permission to make a game VERY similar to the "The eight pages" and "The Arrival".

Answer to your question:
1)You have to look very hard to find the pages on the landmarks because they always move when you start the game.
2)Journal (hidden) Notes are not "Easter Eggs"...they are notes (left by someone) to give a little backstory to the level OR they are hints for [DATA REMOVED].
3)The fog is a little too think because you are using the old version of v0.1.8.....I uploaded the FIXED version.
4)When you view Achievements and Journal, the quality is BAD because you are playing the game on lowest settings.
5)There are reasons for the landmarks to be where they are.....example: Plane (Journal note), Containers (Journal note, hidden on the first tunnel near the fence )

1) What do you mean by that? Are you talking about that they spawn at different locations/objects each time the map is loaded, or do you mean they literally move around the map? I'm assuming you meant the former.

5) I'm not questioning that there are landmarks to begin with. I'm just curious about the kinds of landmarks worked in. An old airplane in the middle of a forest with no signs of wreckage just seemed kind of off to me. Then there are those randomly placed brick walls and the gazebo settled next to a Greek style building and a giant statue holding a lantern (that looks like a flashlight).

1) Yes, they spawn... in "Slender:The Eight Pages" the Rocks (landmark) can be noticed near a sign that has a ripped photo (Ripped photos can be found: silo, truck near a wooden house, X shaped wall, in the house, outside the house)...

5)In case you didn't find a specific Journal note, The FOREST level was planed to be a park, but the whole plan was cancelled (in the Note they say that the reason was unknown...but I think you know what might have happened).

P.S: Just for the "lolz":
Near the bricked walls, head to the corner of the fence, there should be some rocks and there's a Note.
One note is inside the concrete building, and one outside...
Journal notes don't spawn and they are ALWAYS on the landmark OR near them.
Tape spawns in 5 places (box in concrete building, box in rusty house, seat of the orange van, hidden rock, rocks near the tunnel DEEP in the forest).

Ah, okay. That makes sense now. Thanks for clarifying.

I'll keep looking around. In that first playthrough, I was just rushing through to find the pages so I didn't take the time to look more closely for the photos, journals, etc. I'm still trying to memorize the locations in my head so I can start planning a route.

And do the two other "video tapes" (I'm assuming those are more maps) unlock from completing the maps or finding all the hidden items?

Um....The version you are playing (v0.1.8)...the S:TEP map was JUST added in that version (check the changelog to see what is new in this version)...so the 2 other maps that are "Unknown" are planed to come... After these 4 maps comes BETA #2 which will look a little more like S:TA (Slender: The Arrival).

P.S:
If you beat the FOREST map ONCE, it will unlock some modes AND if you pause the game and go back to the (FOREST map) menu...there is a chance you will enter hidden [DATA REMOVED]...

BTW, can you download (if you didn't) the fixed version of v0.1.8? Because it has errors that involves Slenderman falling on the ground like a plank in S:TEP map and in Forest map the fog is a lot thicker, etc...

That bug is not going to be fixed...........It happends due some lagging.. xP
The FIX I will upload will be easier because turning off Flashlights and stuff will make the static build EXTREMLY slow...except when he catches you. :P
