Sirius Online is a Freelancer-inspired MMO, garnished with a grain of EVE and a self-evolving universe. Combat your friends, harvest ores and explore the outer rims of the Sirius systems. But beware - not every player is a friendly one. Sirius Online is, as the name says, an Online Game and requires an internet connection. Enjoy the Mouse/Keyboard controls of classics like Starlancer, Elite and Freelancer in a fresh and new Universe to explore and populate.
About the next BETA-Phase, online play and chat. Winter break's over, time to start working for our Kickstarter!

Hello, anybody out there? This is fleet commander Cell speaking! We just woke up from our hibernation and apparently everyone got hypercreative! Mayday! If you can hear this, we've attached a secondary message from the fleet leader!
Hey everyone, this is Dex! We finished our winter break and really are eager to put more awesome stuff up into our Sirius Online turkey. As you may have seen on the last updates, we've been pretty active creating more assets and start on making the chat better readable, as well as structuring it to different themed channels. As a result of this activity, we will release the last full update before BETA-3 at 16th or 17th January, 2013. from then on we will internally test Multiplayer, or better, just Server movement transmission, ensure all protocols are working fine and give you a universe to play and a patch to the first BETA-3 version, B3_010_intINT.
Yes intINT. You read that right!
From BETA-3 on, your client can be localized by volunteers and fans, it was about time.
Also we are preparing a new UI Modding Kit, containing a whole script language for making modding
On another note, some of you may have seen the studio name change. This may raise concerns but I can assure you we weren't bought, its just a simple name change because it sounded a little bit egomanic, naming a whole game studio with eight people after myself.
Now onwards to more cool stuff:
We ranked #95 on the IOTY'12 Awards, confirmed by mail. Thats pretty awesome and I want to thank everone who casted a vote for us, this means a lot to us. (Actually so much, that we definitely WANT this years IOTY!)
We're definitely going to start our Kickstarter in February, together with multiplayer testing and implementations of new features. If you could wish for something in our pitch video, what would it be?
Alright, I'm writing a wall of text again. Have a good day and thanks for reading this big thingy.
