Sins of a Solar Empire is a real-time space strategy and the first chapter in an epic science fiction saga. The independent Trader Worlds must unite and form the Trader Emergency Coalition to defend themselves against the return of their exiled brethren, "The Advent" and the arrival of the desperate remnants of the ancient Vasari Empire. Explore and conquer nearby planets and distant solar systems by applying brute force, cunning strategy, elegant diplomacy, economic mastery, and researched technology. The gameplay features seamless transition between epic strategy and tactical combat modes.

So Freunde des Sins of a Solar Empire - Future Wars - Tactical Simulator!
Das warten hat eine Ende, wir sind soeben dabei die dritte Alpha Version hoch zu laden, wird also in wenigen Stunden zum Download bereit stehen.
Wie bereits angekündigt enthällt die dritte Alpha:
- komplette Dominion Rasse inkl. Cardassianer und Breen (Schiffe, Stationen, Techbaum, ect.)
- die 3 ersten Rassen Föderation, Klingonen und Romulaner
- Bugbeseitigung der zweiten Alpha
- ein paar kleine Änderungen die erwünscht wurden
- es sind noch ein paar neue Planeten hinzu gekommen, einige besitzen auch Monde um es etwas abwechslungsreicher zu machen
Auch in der dritten Alpha erhoffen wir uns eine genau so großes Feedback, wie bei den ersten zwei Alphas. An dieser Stelle auch erst mal einen Dank an die Leute die so ausgiebig getestet haben!

Mod Version a0.3 ist eine eigenstädnige Alpha - ihr braucht vorher nicht Version a0.1 oder a0.2 installiert haben.

Dear friends of the Sins of a Solar Empire - Future Wars - Tactical Simulator!
Waiting has an end, at the moment we are uploading the third alpha version, will be done in a few hours.
As promised the third alpha contains:
- the complete Dominion Race including Cardassians and Breen (ships, stations techtree, and other)
- the three first races Federation, Klingons and Romulans
- bugfixes of the second Alpha
- some small changes as requested
- some more new planets, there are some with moons to have some variety
We hope that we get the same big Feedback as in the first two Alphas. A big thanks to all alpha tester!
Mod version: original SINS Version 1.13 - 1.181
(Language is german)
Mod version a0.3 is an stand alone alpha - you don't need to install the version a0.1 or a0.2.

Yeeehaaaa! Einfach großartig, Wochenende geht das geteste los.
Okay I don't know about you guys but having a completed StarTrek mod would put me in a state of bliss but if someone causes this fine group of coders not to release an English version severe bodily harm with a spoon. I mean it a dull rusty spoon.
Looks great... but you know what.... I DONT UNDERSTAND A WORD IN GERMAN... What are you crazy... GERMAN, Who can read that, and explain somthing to me.. Why ohhh Why the mod is call Tactical Simulator (Englilsh) if the game is in german, how stupid is that, It took me 4 hours to donwload that, you guys have to remove this stupid mod!!!!!! GERMAN.... are you kidding me. Do you know how much internet cost in my country, four hours throw to the garbage can!! I dont beleive this!! Next time put the entire page in german so only germans can have access to it!!

du brauchst dich net aufzuregen - es ist an mehreren Stellen eindeutig kommentiert das der Mod erstmal in deutsch ist - darunter auch auf der Eröffnungsseite - da steht unter anderen:

The reason for this is that it would just slow the progress down if we had to edit two string files at the same time.The final version of this mod will be available in english, though (if our translators don't try to escape again).
I hope you can understand our reasons for this.
also - wer lesen kann ich eindeutig im Vorteil. Des weiteren haben wir über die Funktionalität dieser Seite keinen Einfluss. In Zukunft erst lesen dann klicken - spart dir unnötige I-Net Kosten. Anonsten empfehle ich dir nen deutsch <-> englisch Wörterbuch :P

I'm starting to get sick of the accussations and agitations that the mod is held in evil German!
Let me put it plainly: "Reading hurts stupidty."
I resent these expressions, both against the mod and that we're German! We pointed out multiple times (both on the main page as well as in the mod description) that the mod alpha versions are in German! If you are not capable of reading, this is not my problem but yours!
Instead of being happy that we're so ludicrous as to release an English final and looking forward to that, you instead decided to grumble and crank around - gratefulness about a courtesy job from our part seems to be too much to expect. I am seriously pondering to cancel the English version - why bother translating a stupid GERMAN mod into that language, why inconvenience the English community with such a travesty? Sadly I know a few English that would loathe such a decision, people awaiting the final and not being cranky about the whole "ordeal".

Langsam gehen mir diese Anschuldigungen und das Gehetze, dass der Mod im bösen Deutsch ist auf die Nerven!
Ich sags nun mal ganz Konkret: "Lesen schadet der Dummheit!"
Ich verbiete mir diese Ausdrucksweise hier - so wohl gegen den Mod als auch das wir Deutsch sind! Es ist mehrfach darauf hin gewiesen worden (Hauptseite und Modbeschreibung), dass der Mod in den Alphas auf Deutsch ist! Wenn du nicht im stande bist zu lesen, kann ich nichts dafür - das ist dein Problem!
Anstatt froh zu sein das wir so dämlich sind eine Englische Version als Finale Version raus bringen und sich drauf zu freuen, wird an allen Ecken und Enden rumgehetzt und gemosert - aber dankbarkeit kann man ja anscheinend nicht erwarten! Ich überleg mir gerade wirklich die Englische Version ab zu sagen - denn warum sollte man denn so einen dummen DEUTSCHEN Mod ins englische bringen - man sollte doch die Englische Community nicht mit so etwas belästigen! Leider kenn ich einige aus dem Englischen Raum, die dies sehr bedauern würden - zudem die Leute die jetzt schon auf die Final Version warten und nicht so nen knax haben!

Schade das es Menschen gibt die nicht die Arbeit die in einer Mod stecken würdigen.Ich sage vielen Dank für die Mod.Habe bisher keine Fehler entdecken können.Naja habe aber auch erst eine Rasse gespielt.Also nochmals Danke das ihr euch diese menge an Zeit genommen habt uns diese tolle Mod zu machen.

May I just add, as a reader of only english, even though I do speak a bit of other languages. I await this MOD with great anticipation. I regestered on this forums just to respond to this rediculous (spelling??) comment. If its easier for you to edit and complete this MOD in German and then convert the final product to English then, Horah. I've been browsing forum and MODs for this game for two years now and very rarely make comments. Iam just a consumer not a modder. But I am safe in saying that the community in general does not feel this way. This "gentleman" is alone in his opinion.
I've only been fallowing this mod recently, but I've found it playable and quite fun even though I read practically no German.

eigentlich wollte ich euch nur mitteilen das Ihr da was Großartiges gezaubert habt. Für jeden der Star Trek zu würdigen weiß ist dies der Mod in dem man sich auslassen kann.
Ich möchte euch noch evtl. eine weitere Idee vorschlagen. Wie wäre es wenn ihr als Rasse die Borg noch zusätzlich mit aufnehmt?

Maybe you have found it ;) Have a look in Options -> Mods and activate the Mod in the game!
