We've worked on making SHIELDS look realistic as possible, this includes visual effects and populating the area with garbage and other props. Here we've went down to the smallest details with the vehicle lighting system, and emergency lighting systems as seen in the video. These are the game's final-end graphics.
Try out the demonstration for yourself.
Since we've started this project we've release a few demonstrations here and there to show progress and to get a response from the community, we encourage feedback whether negative or positive. Downloading the demonstration won't only show you the vehicle lighting systems but it'll determine whether you can or cannot run the full game. We have 5 quality settings to choose from where some settings will lower the resolution of textures and objects as others will increase visual quality.

SHIELDS has been in development for almost a complete year, and we're proud to say its work has paid off! We've released a checklist of what's needed...
Hi there.
Any news on what's happening with SHIELDS? The last post is from July and (at least I am) eager to hear how the game is shaping. :)
I do believe it is still in the works. I will look into it for you and reply back when I have the answer.
Thanks. :)
Yes it's still in development. Multiplayer alpha testing starts in late March, early April.
Oh sweet!I was getting worried that SHIELD was dumped out. Great news that it isn't so. Do you have any plans to release an update of the status of the project?
Yes, our next update will contain a video for the character creation process, to starting a patrol.
Really looking forward to that!

I would definitely play this play this game if it doesn't end up as a "pay to win" sort of game, and (not to turn this into "that" kind of game) being able to commit crimes other than say drunk driving. An AI can drive and shoot well, but a player who is a "pro" driver and shooter would make it much more interesting. It is because of this that I would play this game, as with the offline version, but locally multiplayer!
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "pay to win" but we value and take all suggestions and comments into consideration. SHIELDS won't have an offline version built in the game itself, but it will support local play where anyone connected to your internet will be able to interact with each other in the game.
Pay to Win or P2W is where you can put money into a game and get a better gun, car, etc early on instead of a reward system. Google "micro-transactions" and you'll see what I mean. To avoid this if SHIELDS ends up free, put advertisements in game or something. Micro-Transactions ruin a Free to Play game's progression, thus making it worse.
