Shadows of Lylat is a fan-based stand-alone action game, set in the StarFox universe. It features a campaign-driven single player mode and a multiplayer mode. The game is powered by the FS2_open engine and we are trying to get the most out of the engine. Pick one of the Arwings from the original games and stop the evil forces that threaten the Lylat system once again.

Welcome to Shadows of Lylat!

We have finally decided it was about time to bring Shadows of Lylat (SoL) to Moddb!
Along with the release of our second trailer and our new website, we have set up a project page.

What is Shadows of Lylat?
Shadows of Lylat is a scifi action game, based on the orignial Star Fox game series.
You will be able to pick any Arwing model you like and fly campaign missions in space, or on planets. Or fly against other players online.

Shadows of Lylat uses the FS2_open engine, which allows us to use highly-detailed ship models and textures, as well as some nice effects you can see in modern games

It is still too early to set a release date, so we'll just say "when it's done", but also that we have a vague idea when it will be done.
