Shadowdawn: Genesis is an expansive action/adventure role-playing game following Arashi Kageyama and her companion Ket the Blackwing as their band of outcasts works against the machinations of a deadly conspiracy in a world filled with magic-powered machines. Besides making creative use of tools and artifacts, each character can uniquely master four branches of technomancy and three skill disciplines, each new ability customizable for complete freedom of choice to solve the mysteries laying ahead of Arashi and her friends.

I am planning to get a much better video capture direct from the 360 soon thanks to a friend that works with games for the media, if only to give a better idea how smooth everything really runs. Working on getting the party members animated and the effects for the starting combat skills at this time, so the next gameplay trailer will be a bit more revealing.

Just wanted to add, since this is the most common criticism I hear: The game does have menu/dialog menu transitions and animations, it's just that this video was from a build too early to show that :)

I really like the visuals, but but is that music going to be in-game? I didn't really like it so much, lol

Description

My development PC is slow, but I wanted to at least capture some of the game to show how it generally "feels". There are many features not demonstrated yet, but they will come when animations are completed. Many things in this video have already been overhauled, so a new, better quality video is coming soon.
