Works with JFSW, SWP and REDUX. The DOSBox version has yet to be tested.
Keep in mind the HRP and Redux undo the HUD changes.

In the very first map, there's a grate right in front of the demon head thing that you shoot to open the portal. Open the grate on the floor and jump in to get to the secret map. Hopefully it doesn't crash on you. The secret map and the final map are crash happy. They don't crash as much if you play it on the easiest skill level because it has less enemies. I'll have to fix it in the future, unless a future SW port fixes the problems that SWP has. Thanks for playing and commenting :)

Oh... I realized I can open this kind of grates much later in the game :) Totally missed because I didn't even try to find secret level exit there; I've read from template.txt that "it is on map #5" and decided it's on "LoTrek" map :)
And yes, I play with -s4 so when I have reached lvl 10 it became unplayable( I will try to ask Hendricks, maybe he can help with advice. Even new SWP 4.3.3 beta 3 cannot handle map10 and secret one. Maybe I will try Classic Redux to get it to work.

Yeah even with the original SW episodes, the levels started counting as Seppuku Station being level 1- Dark Woods is level 4 and map 5, Rising Son being the first level of the main episode. Hendricks says it's a complicated bug that he doesn't want to sink time into fixing when he could be working on the EDuke32 version of SW which should likely be called VoidSW. The crash has partly to do with so much going on in such a wide open area. I'll probably have to modify the map someday to make it not crash, which probably means removing somethings.

Yeah, for me it seems that when I look at certain points, it crashes; like when I come to the center of the waterfall at the beginning of last map and try to look "through" the water. Also I have experienced bug when my saved game becomes corrupted for an unknown reason...
Yes, crash comes from the wide-open areas, because I've tried 'Showdown in Suzhou' map and it works OK despite it's large with over 200 enemies but w/o open areas which swc's last & secret maps have.

As for the maps: first one doesn't impress me, but next 8 maps completely brilliant! Very detailed and atmospheric, with lots of eye-candy and interactive decorations. (Haha, I've found the Octabrain in ghostbusters level!) Texturing is good and I was pleased to see textures from Duke Nukem, Redneck Rampage (probably Blood?). The only problems I've found are: 1) Some doors are too big :) 2) Some sectors containing shading effects can't be looked through
I'll post here a link to a playthrough as soon as I upload files on youtube.
I hope this is not the last SW mod, neither from you, nor overall :)

Haha yup.. sounds like you're noticing all the ways that map will crash, sad really because I spent a ridiculous amount of time making that map. I really should look into fixing it again. As for the save game bug, SWP has had a history of corrupting save game files, looks like the latest versions are not much different.

Yeah, as for the first map with the pyramid, I built the outside and then the first room inside and totally lost inspiration for it after that, I'm kind of ashamed about it really. I'm very pleased you enjoyed the rest of the maps :) .. I built them over time and as my build skills progressed so on some of them I made noob mistakes like making doors too big. The shading thing is just transparent masked walls and build or swp likes to not show sprites when viewed from the other side so, I really shouldn't have done that in some areas of a few maps.. could even be why the last map crashes perhaps, I think see through masked walls might be pretty resource hungry.
I knew someone would appreciate the Octabrain thrown in there, haha. There's random secret things strewn out across most of the levels. Yes, it has textures from Sw/Duke/RR/Blood :) Thank-you very much for the feedback, I really didn't have any beta testing done on it except for playing it myself so I was probably too lenient in letting some things slide, I'll release fixes and touch ups for it in the future to iron things out and probably make a new map or 2 for it also because I enjoyed using the expanded texture set. The TRON and Wangbusters maps were the last ones I made for the add-on..quality-wise you can probably tell. I too hope SW gains some more attention and mods in the future, I made some how-to videos on youtube to hopefully get people learning how to map for it alot easier. I became a parent in November so I figured my time for playing with build would decrease and I was getting a bit burnt out on it at the time anyway so I just packaged it all together, ignored the obvious faux-pas of the last map crashing and shoved it out the door. Again I'll definitely look into fixing its errors in the future when time permits and especially if the mod gains more attention. Thanks again for your time and interest in it!

>>> sounds like you're noticing all the ways that map will crash
I work as a programmer/tester so I SHOULD know how to reproduce every single error :)

>>> random secret things strewn out across most of the levels
I remember that fake Atomic Health aswell :)
And I like your way of detailing, like with hylotyna and the head lying near it :) or a toaster made of sectors...
Or when Lo Wang climbing up in Pyramid yelling "What died up here?" right before he sees the Ninja Turtle body (the WANGTALK is always at its place).
I want to ask, what's the point of the "BUG MODE" in Matrix level? I became like in water and killed myself with a lobbed grenade :)
By the way, your secrets are HARD to find comparing to the original levels. Most 'hidden' places aren't secrets at all. I was impressed by the 1st secret on "StarGate Continues" map (see my playthrough).

>>> I became a parent in November
Congratz! I hope your wife isn't angry about your spare time waste :)

What's a hylotyna? There was a map back in the day called kitchen.map and it had a toaster similar to that, so I can't say the idea was original of mine, but I did build it from scratch, not copied though heh. I should have made that Ninja Turtle a darker shade as it's pretty dark up there. Also I need to fix the transition from the wooden beam when you access the top room there, I just need to make the ST1 sprite not move with the vator.. I knew that trick just forgot to apply it there, it'll make the transition work much better without the hiccup it has now. That bug mode thing in the matrix map is just a bug to play around with, when you have a teleport from under water it does that. The secret with the guillotine? Yeah I liked the idea of making it so you had to shoot the trashcan back a ways to access it, careful though because the trash can will destruct if you use an explosive weapon on it. I also figured it would add another way to get around if the map was ever played in multiplayer, not likely that it ever would though..lack of players and all that. The Wifey was/is fine with me playing around with build, but I haven't even touched Build since my son was born.. something I expected which is why I released the add-on a month or so before he was born. I watched all the playthroughs :) Great job! I'll do some commenting on them soon. I see on some of the videos you were having the bug happen where the video monitors and mirrors all showed that funky atomic health texture. I still haven't had that happen to me though ManHS who also has playthrough videos posted has it too. Your mirrors and such were working in the later videos though, did you change anything?

>>> What's a hylotyna?
It's my bad pronunciation of "guillotine" :)

>>> Also I need to fix the transition from the wooden beam when you access the top room there
And change the view, when you look back down, you see some... sandy texture, instead of a dark one; or maybe make there, on a transition, just a transparent texture like in the water?

>>> I see on some of the videos you were having the bug happen where the video monitors and mirrors all showed that funky atomic health texture.
Yeah, it was strange bug I've noticed from the 2nd map and later. I decided to get rid of it at the start of WangBusters. I just restarted SWP and loaded WangBusters directly as a usermap; then loaded my quicksaved game. The bug has gone!

Thanks for watching my videos! :)

Also, I've tried two remaining maps (teh last and secret level) under SW Classic Redux and got the same crash result. Though crash frequency is slightly less now...

Well when you look down from there it was supposed to look bright, that was my goal anyway..didn't turn out too good. Thankyou for making the videos, I very much enjoyed watching them! I really want the last map to be playable as I think it looks nice and it's very large and it's a shame to have the playthrough videos incomplete.

I've added a link to your videos in a news post at my SW website:

I'll wait for another SW port to play last two maps, they seem to be great as the previous you made. Thx for you work for the almost dead game :)

Replace TD or WD with this mod by renaming it.

Best played with SWP though as you'll be missing the intro and other things when using Redux.

In WangGDX (available at M210.duke4.net), I have encountered what is likely a showstopper bug in the Heretic level - the game crashes when you approach the Gold Key Door from any direction, which could prevent you from exiting the level, since the exit is near the yellow key door. (And I also had a crash in SW Land (the secret level), when I pulled the switch in front of the window overlooking the ship.)

That is a source port, not the original game, it was designed for the DOS SW Game. ;)

Source port is the game too, it includes the original game although rendered differently. This was built with SWP or newer ports. Not the DOS version.

It seems Raze is able to run this addon without any crashes or slowdowns!
The first map requires a significant overhaul. Those jumping passages and that deadly lava corridor in particular are very annoying and seem like an attempt to make people stop playing this.

Navigation in "SW World" and "SW Land" is kinda difficult. It took me quite a while to figure out how to continue in the last level after finding all keys (that underwater crack is somewhat easy to miss in such a big map), and in the secret level I actually couldn't figure out how to get the golden master key (and where to use it). Maybe more navigation assistance is required.

Also after killing the boss and pushing the exit switch, the game continues with regular SW maps ("Coolie Mines"), but I guess this is hardcoded and cannot be changed via swcustom.txt.

Other than that, this is a welcome change from the usual SW maps since it adds new settings which deviate from the usual Asian style, e.g. the Star Trek/Matrix levels. Also liked that Blood reference with Caleb. But seriously, change the beginning. It needs to be a lot easier.
