Blade of Darkness holds true to the greatest of hack and slash legends, combining sorcery, knights, and swords with god forsaken enemies that deserve to have their arms slashed off with a broadsward. Blade of Darkness looked excellent in 2001, and still delivers its gore well today. Holding True to it's genre it offers modders both custom maps and scripts.

From Rebel Act's bankruptcy in 2002 it was looking like, that without any type of support, the community of the game would finish for disappearing.
But still today, on the verge of 2008 there continue being innovations in the development of maps and mods for Severance: Blade of Darkness.

This game have the best combat system designed for Melee battles, you can attack the head, legs, or whatever part of the enemie's body, use shield blocking or block with the weapons, also you can dodge the enemie attacks.
Have thousends of combos for every character, and the arquitecture of the levels are wonderfull.
One of the first games that include physics in his engine, and a very big interaction with the environment.
THis game really really rocks!!! Nice Graphics, nice gameplay, i mean awsome and outstanding!!!!!!
