*NOTE (DESURA)* - If you're having problems with the Desura version (we are too), you can download version 1.1.2 through the link at the bottom of this article. Sorry for the inconvenience, we contacted Desura about it, hopefully it's working soon!

Hi everyone!

Today, Segatakai will be released for download on Desura! In case you haven't noticed, we changed the team's name from Negative² Games to Indemonai Games for various reasons which we will not bore you with. So, with the release of the game on Desura, we made a new build of the game (1.1.2) with the new team logos. I will be uploading version 1.1.2 onto IndieDB today as well and updating this article once it is up. The core game is untouched, so if you have version 1.1 there's no need to re-download the game once again (unless you want to see our new logo in game!)

We also released a Soundtrack sampler, which you can see right here:

If you enjoy the music and would like to help Indemonai Games with our future projects, you can purchase the soundtrack right here: Bandcamp. There are two versions available: "Barebones" - contains 4 songs; and "Complete" - contains 10 songs.

We will be discussing our new projects (hopefully) very soon, so stay tuned to our IndieDB page and our Official Website if you enjoyed Segatakai!

I played the game on my YouTube channel, the game was cool and has a lot of potential but it is farrrrrr too dark!

If you make it brighter (a lot brighter) then it will be playable.

Hello! :) Thanks a lot for playing our game and recording a video of it! We are addressing all the problems people have been giving feedback on, and yes, the brightness is one of those problems (more information on our latest article!)

We will address that on the next update that should be up during the weekend, so if you decide to play / record again maybe waiting for that would be give you a better experience :)

I will watch your video in a few hours and drop a comment concerning these tweaks!

Thank you!

I personally like this game alot but there are a few things that I think should be adjusted.

The first thing is to adjust the brightness of the game. I honestly could not see when I was in the house without my lantern. When it was off I was running into the wall. Outside was still hard to see but I could do it barely.

Another thing I would say to do is maybe make the static not go up so quickly because again it makes it hard to see.

Anyways I did a playthrough of it so if you want to check it out here is the link :)

Hi guys,

Just finished trying the game and I have to say that the game graphics are amazing. There are only some few tweaks necessary to make the game complete (Ex.: Lamp should give more light and should last longer). Anyway the game is amazing and I'll be waiting for some more games from you. Any idea what will come next?

Congrats,
ExyloN

Hi :) Yes, the lantern radius has been talked about a lot, and we've had very helpful feedback, like yours! So thank you! We are really glad people have been enjoying the game in general, and we will address these tweaks in the next update.

We are working on pre-production of a new project (also horror), and we'll be sharing that with everyone when we have solid stuff to show. But it will be an original game, and a lot bigger than Segatakai. You can get more news about it if you track our Team's IndieDB :)

Thanks a lot!

G,day Guys.

This game was visually awesome. I loved it however I think you need to change the lighting meaning you don't have to recharge the lamp. The lamp runs out too quickly and the fact that you have to wait a while for it to recharge is annoying cause you also have slender behind your back and you have no idea where the heck your going. The brightness of the lamp could also be improved cause it was still hard to see even at full capacity. Other than that the setting and atmosphere to it was spectacular! With no music and the silence that goes with this game sort of makes you feel like your in it. Also the visual aspect like the artwork its really nicely done. Great job guys I will expect more from you :)

Hope you don't mind the feedback just wanted to be honest.

Oh and by the way I did a gameplay for it please check it out!

Hi! We don't mind the feedback at all! We welcome it! Bad and good. Feedback is what helps us see what needs to be tweaked to create a better experience!

We've had the lighting complaint from various players and YouTubers, so that will be addressed in the next release (which should happen this week still)!

Thank you also for making a video! (It's still processing so I will have to check it later today!)

And don't shy away from sharing feedback, even the less good, it will only help us to improve. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Cheers!
