This is EvilWayne's catwalk, submitted to mods sometime last year. I think now is about the perfect time to introduce it, as we finally have selection-screen sections.

Dirkson: Something occurred to me about these - they should not only be a good surface to walk on when the ship is under thrust or spin - they should also be a good surface to full oneself along, like a ladder, when in microgravity. Perhaps your movement speed along them would be faster than along a sheer wall.
