Sanctus Legacy Online has been around since 2003, and has been actively present on development communities such as Gamedev'net and GarageGames'com, but is new to ModDB' While this may not be our focal hub, we will still keep this profile as up-to-date as is possible'

Sanctus Legacy Online is an online role-playing game being produced, independently, by Trillæm Games: a team of developers from all around the globe' Many of the game's developers have little to no industry experience, and most of them are still in their primary or secondary education' Founded in November of 2003, the Trillæm Games team began as a small group of hard-working students with a passion for the video game industry' Since then, the team has grown into a dedicated work force with a hefty goal to accomplish'
Our team is still composed primarily of students and amateurs just beginning to understand the difficulties of game development, but our roster has been seasoned with big names in the field: modelers who've done independent contract work for a living, mappers who have worked on AAA commercial games (including two very recent MMORPGs), private network business owners, as well as musicians and artists who've been featured in communities such as MusicV2 and deviantART'
Each of the developers on this project has their own reasons for being here, but our goal is one and the same: finish the game, and finish it well'
-For many of us, Sanctus Legacy Online serves very much as would an internship with a professional game development studio' Work experience is invaluable in the field, and it's often hard to come by' Having a completed game on one's portfolio is a very powerful testimony of skill and determination: and we've all learned a lot about the hard work that goes into game development through this project'
-For others, Sanctus Legacy Online began as a whimsical hobby, but has grown into a pasttime that they can not be seperated from' Many of our artists, in particular, find an immense deal of inspiration in this project, and they know that their art has found an outlet where it is both creative and useful'
-Finally, for a select few, Sanctus Legacy Online is just the first step towards something bigger' We would like to preserve the Trillæm Games team beyond the lifespan of Sanctus Legacy Online, branching into other projects' Ultimately, the eventual transformation of Trillæm Games into a respectable and successful independent game development group is the goal' For now, though, we're taking things one step at a time'
The task at hand is not an easy one' Many smaller teams have tried and failed for innumerable reasons, but the Trillæm Games team does not intend to follow in their footsteps' With leadership, dedication, skill, passion, and creativity, we intend to join the elite ranks of independent groups who have completed games as large and complex as ours, and serve as just one more beacon for the rest of the independent game development community'
I can't possibly stress this enough: if you want the latest updates, keep an eye on our forum, not here.
That said, however, we've gotta keep our stubborn friends over here entertained, so here's a recent Leak from the boards. ;)

Lately the bestiary development has been on fire, with the combined efforts of multiple modelers and texturists. Several monsters have been modeled and skinned at a jawdropping pace over the past week or so, and others are nearing completion. We are pleased to present you with just a few of the latest in renders. Keep in mind that many of the textures you see, nice as they may be [;)], are merely placeholders.
