Towers are the cold and hard machines standing between the LOEK III colonists and their certain death. They are the first and last barrier between Core Guardians and the scourge of lumniscient aliens in the horizon.
We had tons of ideas for Sanctum 1 that we wanted to add, but never had the time or money to make. That's why we're very excited to show you the Focus Laser and the Amp spire!
The Focus Laser fires a continous laser capable of punching through the hardest armor. The longer it stays on the same target, the thicker and more powerful its laser becomes. It can easily smash through the hard exoskeletons of the new enemies in Sanctum 2, but is less effective against smaller and faster foes.
The Amp Spire produces a field around it that increases all damage done by nearby towers. The more it's upgraded, the bigger the damage bonus and range becomes. If you adjust your maze to accomodate Amp Spires at the right places, this tower can be one of your best allies against the horde of Lumes dead set on destroying your Core!

An interesting blend of FPS and Tower Defense. DLC is not required to play, but helps in a pinch (Violators are a must imo, helpful when placed properly, but don't think they replace AA).

Yeah that pvp sounds really really good!
Cant really think how your first suggestion might work tho.
Fantastic game! I enjoyed every minute of it. Tryed multiplayer yesterday and i just couldnt figure out how to send a tell to my teammate... checked the keyboard settings, but there just wasnt any option there for the multiplayer chat... why?
Oh and there was a lag. Dont know if it was becouse of my teammate or maybe becouse of me? Or neither, just the game need internet optimalization?

How do I LAN coop?
Does this game have a mode where the monsters actually attack you and you have to defend?
Now that makes me think of the possibility of PvP (tower war WC3 style) meaning each player sends mobs at eachother's bases.
<3 I would play this game for sure if it had these two things - forward this to the developers :D
another idea is to have a map/scenario editor if their isn't already one, and open it up to the modding community.

If this is true then you just crushed someones illusion :D
There's been plenty of games with this type of gameplay. I find it laughable devs still claim FPS / RTS games are revolutionary, when they've been around since as early as the late 90's.
Why doesn't the game save after every wave? It's really embarassing if you want to retry a wave and have to play through 2 waves until you are were you want to be.
When killing the last enemy the game also sometimes crashes. Which makes the missing saves even more annoying.
